Joe Vigorito is a trusted advisor and organizational leader across Solutions³ LLC Cybersecurity and IT Service Management pillars, guiding its partners and clients towards protecting their digital assets while optimizing technology investments. With over three decades of technical, governance, risk and compliance experience, he specializes in developing comprehensive cybersecurity programs, applying risk management frameworks, and continually improving program effectiveness and efficiency across organizations of all sizes.
In addition to multiple Fortune 50 virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) engagements, Joe was the CISO for life sciences and industrial gas giants Applera and Praxair for over fourteen years combined.
Joe earned his Masters in Information Systems Engineering from NYU Polytechnic and serves as a Fellow of the American Board for Certification in Homeland Security. His expertise and thought leadership have earned him advisory board positions at Rutgers University, Pace University, and Seton Hall University cybersecurity programs. Well-known in the cybersecurity community, he is an active member of FBI-Infragard, the Information Systems Security Organization (ISSA), the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA), board advisory firm Boardsi, and maintains editorial responsibilities with Pearson Publishing’s security publications.
